A Recap
With over 90 organizations attending, the 2006 Governor's Summit on Workforce Development ended last week at the Parkway Plaza. The Summit was themed Essential Investments: Recruiting, Training and Retaining.
The event brought together several experts in the fields of leadership, training, recruitment, economics, and workplace environment. All offered strategies to business owners on ways to address their workforce issues. The event was sponsored by the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, and the Wyoming Economic Development Association.
